GE#Sharp Artists Events was founded in 2006 as a music production company and agency. The approach we believe in is one of participation: it is best for artists to represent their own art. Our role remains merely supervisory. We therefore prefer working on a project basis. The projects we participate in become the mutual goals of our client and us whilst we tackle budgets, planning and marketing comprehensively. Our method is not only appropriate for larger societies and events, but also suits smaller ensembles.

Advice
GE#Sharp Artists Events is available for advice in the initial phase of a project, for professionalisation programmes of ensembles and for drafting organisational structures for various activities. Our feedback on budgets and on the feasibility of artistic plans will help you compose your thoughts and will put your organisation on the right track.
A unique idea or a desire often form the artistic basis for a plan. The transition from ideas to plans and the execution of such plans is a long process, involving many stages and numerous aspects. How will the plan be funded, will the press be informed, will audiences be reached? We will help you develop a mission statement and clear objectives and, if necessary, offer advice on organisational structures and acquisition strategies.
Since organising and financing music projects is a complex matter, GE#Sharp Artists Events prefers to render assistance (or be at the wheel of your project, if so desired) from the very first phase of your project.

Performance
A glimpse behind the scenes of a music production makes clear that this type of events is quite challenging. GE#Sharp Artists Events has knowledge of several aspects of music management, or can depend on partners for specialist knowledge. We offer modular services, enabling us to perform the organisational tasks you need. The services we offer range from production tasks and logistics to budgeting and acquisition. GE#Sharp Artists Events is connected to an efficient network of PR professionals and designers.
We help you turn your plans into reality.

Dear visitor,
I am very pleased that you chose to visit my website.

GE#Sharp Artists Events was founded in 2006, when I still worked as a production and tour manager with Ton Koopman’s Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra & Choir. My purpose then was to structure the various activities I undertook. GE#Sharp Artists Events has by now grown into a full time business. I have employees who help me serve all our clients.

I gained experience in events management through various job positions with Amsterdam Sinfonietta, the Netherlands Bach Society and the National Youth Orchestra. As an independent producer, I coordinated all financial and production activities of the Buxtehude Nederland Foundation in 2007 (a collaboration between the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and the Faculty of Creative and Performing Arts of Leiden University).

In 2006 I organised a master class and six concerts (of Bach’s Saint John Passion) with Kurt Equiluz, commissioned by the Tettix Foundation in collaboration with the Utrecht Art Academy [Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht]. In 2004 I took the same role with the Marzimino Foundation, organising six fully staged concerts in the Geertekerk in Utrecht of Mozart’s Don Giovanni.

Halfway through the nineties (while I was a student) I founded the ‘Dutch Strings’ Guild’ [Nederlands Strijkers Gilde] and the Arezzo Ensemble (both are now past their ten year anniversaries). A very special assignment for me was the logistic management of I Pagliacci, an opera project with the Utrechtsch Studenten Concert. The opera I Pagliacci was performed in a circus tent by students touring Europe for six weeks.
I am passionate about classical music as a product and I hope to be able to assist you in the future with the organisation of your event. I look forward to meeting you,
Guido van den Ende
